 Cameron Russel, known as a very popular model, shows the economic ways of being a model, she gains free stuff, and her whole career is based on the way she looks. Her body and face structures gave her that type of economic advantage, allowing her to get further into life, and allowing her to be more successful.  But when it comes to relationships, she helped a friend getting out of a speeding ticket just because of her beauty. 

And then there was Tom Chiarella. A person who took their days to dress up as four different types of workers.  A doctor, a priest, a security guard and a car maintenance man. Different views were put on each character. And the community relationships showed. When he was a priest, everyone thought they needed to be around him, everyone admired him. They wanted him to notice them, no matter what they looked like. And when he was a doctor, everyone wanted to help him, and got out of his way whenever he was in a "rush" somewhere. However when he was a security guard and car mechanic, no one gave him attention. Especially when Tom was the mechanic. But when it came financially, as a doctor, they make more money economically. So the doctor gained the respect of money, therefore, the maintenance man, was completely ignored.

Real World of Weddings

 As you may realize, having a wedding is one of the top most goals for most people. However, there are hidden truths behind the reality of weddings. In Wedding Confidential, there were multiple truths that were revealed. The average cost for a wedding for NORMAL weddings is just about 27,000 dollars. And while that might be surprising.. In the other video, Adam Ruins Weddings, He states that weddings are basically just displays of a person's wealth. 

So when it comes to the wealth of a Bride and Groom, it affects how much they will actually spend to have their best days. But back in the days, weddings used to be very informal, and most brides could not afford white fabric, or they didn't care, as white fabric was so easy to get dirty. And anything white back then was very expensive. So it was much more cheaper, just going the cheaper ways of weddings, and just having smaller weddings. 

Belle Knox vs Rehteah Parsons

 Belle Knox and Rehteah Parsons came from different backgrounds. They both went to highschool, and lived their normal lives as normal as they could. Until both of them chose different paths. One a porn-star, and one who committed suicide due to rape. 

Rehteah grew up and was born on December 9th, 1995. She was one of those kids were so confident in themselves, and wanted change in the world. But a terrible tragedy happened. That was rape. She went with her girl friend to another home of 2  young boys and decided to have fun by drinking. Reteah then became utterly drunk, and had no control of what happened to her.  After that, 2 more guys showed up and decided to rape her. They took photos of her and spread it around. After this, she was called a slut, harassed, and shamed. After 17 long months of fighting anxiety and depression, she took her life, by hanging. 

But it wasn't only rape that both of these girls in common, it was also the experiences of being slut-shamed. 

Miriam Weeks, formerly known as Belle Knox in the porn industry, had also had an experience of rape. Which also had turned her to be slut shamed. It's so common for women to be slut-shamed, and honestly something needs to be changed. It's caused many deaths of people who have been raped, and the stereotypical slut-shaming needs to go. But Belle Knox, still went into the porn industry after being raped. She didn't end her life, she moved on, and made herself stronger. Although it's still a sensitive topic for her, she went to college, all while being in the porn industry.  Being a porn-star and being in college, was a really surprising fact to me. But she left college with no debt to her name. 

Reteah sadly passed away in her Highschool years due to all the problems that were thrown at her, but made a change for other's lives. She helped other's lives by donating what organs could be used. Sadly, due to the loss of oxygen, her brain was damaged and it couldn't be donated to those who needed it. But she changed others lives by improving the way they lived. Her eyes, liver and other important organs were donated. 

So these girls had their differences, one being a donator, and ending her life. While the other was a pornstar and went to college. But similarly to eachother, they were both victims of rape, and they both were slut-shamed in result of so. These girls have so many other things that were different and similar from eachother, that this conversation could go for a much longer time than it would need to. 

Teen's Beliefs

 

Porn for any kind of teenager can be somewhat disturbing if they are just learning about the misconceptions of the sex industry. But there is a point in time where teenagers are required (in some states) to be taught about sex. Iowa, the state that I am from, is required to have a sex education program, and some of the things I learned from sex education mostly caused me to not like the whole program. I thought the program was disgusting, but it wasn’t until I was older and realized, I didn’t learn what I was wanting to learn from sex education. 

There are many other students just like me who want to learn something, but from Sex Education, they aren’t getting those answers. So they look towards porn to get their answers. However, many younger teens tend to learn false acquisitions of sex from watching porn, some acquisitions I found from What Teens Are Learning From Online Porn give examples of this problem which are quoted,  “Some of those same teenagers assumed the portrayal how how sex and pleasure worked was largely accurate,” and “Drew told me he got the sense that girls wanted to be dominated not only from reading a few pages of “Fifty Shades Of Grey” but also from watching the movie “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”’.

When it says that some teenagers believed the portrayals of the sexual content and how pleasure actually worked, this shows how much we really know about the real side of porn. In porn, teens think it’s mostly a reality, when in fact, most of the porn-stars are acting. Sometimes over-acting in most cases. So when teens are learning about pleasure and sex from porn, they may use it for their personal times with their significant other. But in most cases, teens then realize that porn is actually a whole acting scenario and realize it’s not how real sex works. 

Then reading about Drew’s statement, I, as a woman, tend to disagree. Books, Videos, and movies always can make that sense of a woman wanting to be dominated, but in reality that’s not always the case. There are some people who want to take over sometimes and that is okay, it doesn’t always have to be the male being “dominant.” It just makes it fun for both sides of the coin. “Fifty Shades of Grey” is meant to have that portrayal of women being submissive as it was meant to be a sexy movie. It allows both genders to imagine what they would be doing if they were in that scenario. 

But when they are learning about how those statements are incorrect, they learn that consent is majorly important in reality. While porn had already been set in stone, you can’t back out of a shot, otherwise you could be shamed. But consent is key in real life, when a woman says stop, or a man says stop, or the word, “NO”. All things that are happening in that moment need to stop, immediately. This goes with the first quote, as the second quote though, Drew started to think of the whole porn world differently, not just males being dominant, he said it was important for him to figure out what he liked by actually getting out there and trying new things, not just watching porn. And he had also realized that women don’t act the same way as they do in porn, which is a very huge outcome for him. So these students learned so much just in 3 weeks to finally get their real answers, and it taught them what they wanted to know. Which is very important to the new generations coming to play.
